Our purpose

With over 26,000 at-risk students and an 80% graduation rate in Caddo Parish Schools, we know there are many students who could benefit from the skills and trades our local unions can offer. Because of this, we applied for and received a $10,000 American Federation of Teachers (AFT) back-to-school grant. With the support of this grant, we're sharing resources and hosting rotational events to introduce students and their families to each of our local trades. By doing so, we can provide students with community connections and career opportunities.
